What is Ride-Online?

Ride-Online is a unique virtual sports club that offers affiliation to various sports governing bodies.

Why join Ride-Online?

In order to acquire a CSA membership, a CSA racing licence or Emba membership, you have to be a member of a cycling club. If you don’t want to be part of a physical club and want a cheap and affordable option to acquire these memberships, Ride-Online is exactly what you are looking for.

What sporting bodies is Ride-Online affiliated to?

Ride-Online is currently affiliated to CSA and EMBA.

What is the cost?

The cost of a Ride-Online membership for a calendar year is just R165.00

What facility costs do I need to pay?

There are no “fixed” facilities (for example club house) which means great savings on levies which are associated with clubhouse facilities.

Does Ride-Online membership include a CyclingSA membership?

Ride-Online membership does NOT include a CyclingSA membership (that has to be
purchased via www.cyclingsa.com), but you do need to be a member of a club to purchase a Cycling SA Membership which entitles you to enter CSA sanctioned races. You also need to be a member of a club to purchase a Domestic Racing Licence to be eligible for provincial and national selection or to compete for national age-group titles. Ride-Online membership is one of the cheapest ways to purchase a club membership in South Africa.

Do I have to join every year?

Yes, your membership will run for one calendar year, after which you will need to renew your membership.
